Die Idee, eine Residenz mit einem zentralen Hof zu bauen, nach der Wahrnehmung der bekannten Case Study Houses , war der ursprüngliche Ansatz für das Projekt.  

Das Grundstück des Aparthotel befindet sich in perfekter Lage, am Hang über SplitsYachthafen und nur 500 Meter südöstlich von der Altstadt.

Die Aussicht aus dem Loft erstreckt sich über die Hausdächer des ersten Bezirkes in Wien. 

Eine neu Niederlassung für die Fa. Schiebel, einem Elektronikunternehmen aus Wien, war die Aufgabenstellung dieser Bauaufgabe.
